About us
Cockpit Association of Norway is the Norwegian labor union for professional pilots, task specialists, drone operators, flight instructors and students. We organize the full width of the operative aviation industry, which reflects our access to specialized knowledge.
Our members have extensive experience within a vast variety of operational conditions, from a country where short runways and harsh winters contribute to the challenges faced. Hence, our experts play important roles in advising and raise important matters to authorities and politicians.
We work domestically towards the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority and the politicians. Internationally we also constitute the Norwegian brand of ECA – European Cockpit Association. Cockpit Association of Norway is one of the founding fathers who contributed to the establishment of the global labor union IFALPA back in 1948. Today IFALPA has approximately a total of 150.000 pilots organized through their national unions. Having a seat around the table both in Norway, in Europe through ECA and globally through IFALPA, we ensure that our voice is heard also across borders.

Below you will find the attachement "About membership in the Cockpit Association of Norway". This is a leaflet containing the most crucial information regarding a membership in NF, as well as different types of membership.
If you wish to register for a membership you may fill out the attached "Membership Registration" form and deliver to us either by mail or email. If forwarding by email, we recommend that you password protect/encrypt the file and contact us by phone in order to exchange the password for access to the file.
Note that we have also enclosed our Privacy Statement, as referred to in the membership application form.
